ALAN K. BOCK

Alan K. Bock, 81, of Citrus Hills, Inverness, Florida, passed away on “Thanksgiving Day”, Nov. 24, 2022.
He was born in Chicago, IL on Jan. 24, 1941; son of the late Stanley D. Bock and Lilian (Kielchinski) Bock.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son Michael. Survivors include his wife, Peggy; one daughter surviving Roxann (Alan) McQue and daughter-in-law Cynthia Bock; and five grandchildren, Tyler McQue, Robbie and Meghan Bock, Evan and Ava Bock; and great-grandchildren Sawyer and Analise. He is also survived by his two siblings; sister Adrienne Lee and brother Philip Bock; as well as, several nieces and nephews.
Alan travelled the world as a project manager for Abbott Laboratories after graduating from Marquette University, with a major in Engineering and a Masters in Business Management. He was a loving husband to wife Peggy for 60 fruitful years where they would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this coming March 1, 2023, whom he also enjoyed traveling with her; but above all, a loving and caring father to his children.
He will truly be missed by all those who loved him as a kind and caring soul who enjoyed walking everyday surrounded by God’s beautiful creations.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
