Andre Rafael Morelli, an inquisitive mind, passion for learning and a love for family, has left us all too soon. He was preceded by his wife, Karen. His father, Albert Morelli, along with his maternal and paternal Grandparents has also preceded him.
Andre enjoyed learning other languages including German, his mother’s heritage. He was always quick to speak with his maternal grandfather when the call would come from Germany when he was younger. Andre also enjoyed practicing his German with his mother, Heike who is surviving, and his Aunt Gisela. When enjoying a Mexican dinner, Andre would practice his Spanish. Japanese was the other language he was able to say a few sentences in.
When it came to sports, the New York Yankees was Andre’s team of choice. His love of New York where he was born and raised played a part of that. He attended Mercy College, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree. His interest in school was Criminal Justice.
Andre enjoyed music, ranging from Classical to Heavy Metal. He and his brother Luke, of Snellville Georgia, enjoyed sharing records and talking about music.
Many family members will greatly miss Andre and his great bear hugs. Those include his Uncle Klaus and Aunt Dorhita of Hamburg Germany; Gisela Vos and Glenda Kalitzki and families.
A Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday June 29th, at 10:00 am at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church located at 439 E Norvell Bryant Hwy, Hernando, FL 34442.
