Andrew Mulligan

Andrew John Mulligan , age 51, of Inverness, FL died May 6, 2017 at Tampa General Hospital.  Andrew was born on December 20, 1965 in Torrington, CT, son of Edward and Patricia Mulligan.  He received Master’s Degrees in both Accounting and International Business.  Andrew was an accountant, but his love was teaching in Shenzen, China.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was awarded Soldier of The Year.  He moved to Inverness in 2016 from Shenzen, China.  He currently worked for Veterans Trading Company in Ocala, FL.  Andrew was a member of Brown Scapular Confraternity and traveled to Medjugorje.  He was a good listener and never met a stranger.

Mr. Mulligan is survived by his brothers, Edward Mulligan, Jr. of Inverness, FL and John Mulligan and his wife Linda of Brandon, FL; sisters, Betty Mulligan of Inverness, FL and Sue Vinson of Inverness, FL; nieces and nephews, Molly, Clark, Sandy, Larry, David, Mary, Megan, Miles, and Steven; aunt, Maryann Washington; and several grand nieces and nephews.

The family of Mr. Mulligan will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Heinz Funeral Home.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Inverness.  Burial will follow at Hills of Rest Cemetery in Floral City, FL.  Heinz Funeral Home & Cremation, Inverness, FL.  heinzfh.com
