Anele Steponavic

Anele Steponavic, 94, of Lecanto, FL, died on March 9, 2014 at the Health Center of Brentwood under the loving care of Hospice of Citrus County.  Anele was born on October 22, 1919 in Waterbury, CT, daughter of George and Mary Kalinauskas.  She moved to Lecanto in 1996 from Waterbury, CT.  Anele was an avid golfer and a member of the Knights of Lithuania in Connecticut.

Mrs. Steponavic was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph in 1995.  Survivors include her daughter, Mary Armstrong and husband, John of Inverness, FL; son, Joseph Steponavic and wife, Mary Ann Hodges of Norman, OK; granddaughter, Shirl; and two great grandsons.  Arrangements by Heinz Funeral Home & Cremation, Inverness, FL.
