Arlene Bates

Arlene Joanne Bates , 78, of Inverness, FL died April 20, 2015 at Citrus Memorial Hospital, Inverness, FL. Arlene was born on July 17, 1936 in Cleveland, OH, daughter of George  and Dorothy Pepple.  She was a homemaker and medical secretary.  Arlene and her husband, John moved to Inverness in 2006 from Bainbridge, OH.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Janet Pepple.  Survivors include her husband, John A. Bates, of Inverness, FL; daughters, Holly Fletcher and her husband Duane of Fredericksburg, VA, Laura Glantz and her husband Steve of Twinsburg, OH, and Shari Grasso and her husband Tom of Safety Harbor, FL; sister, Linda Sutley of Parma, OH; grandchildren, S. Keith Payne, Ryan Payne, Jason Payne, Alex Tyler, Bradley Tyler, Benjamin Grasso and Avery Grasso; and great grandmother of 2 .

Funeral services for Mrs. Bates will be at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, April 24, 2015 at Heinz Funeral Home.  Her family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until the hour of service.  Additional services and interment will be held in Twinsburg, OH.  Arrangements by Heinz Funeral Home & Cremation, Inverness, FL.
