Carlus A. “Tony” Shaw

September 16, 1962 – March 9, 2022

Survived by Susan L. Shaw, his wife of 38 years; his daughter, Randi Whitcomb (Chris); his two grandsons, Zachary and Tyler; his father, Carlus E. Shaw (predeceased)(Eva); his mother, Wylene Jennings Crowder (Ken – predeceased); his brother, Roger Shaw (Cheri); sisters and brother, Sabrina Durham (Sean), Tanya Barnes (Steven), and Chad Shaw (Elizabeth); aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and Alabama in-laws who he refuses to talk to on Iron Bowl game day.

Tony enjoyed spending time with his grandsons more than anything.  He also enjoyed fishing, Auburn football, golf, NASCAR with his father, and American History. Tony loved God and loved his Country.

Career highlights: United States Air Force, Active Duty 1981 – 1992, Reserve 1992 – 1995; Sumter Electric Cooperative (SECO) 1999 – 2019 (Retired).

A Funeral Service will be held at 9:30 AM on Monday, March 21, 2022 with a Visitation beginning at 9:00 AM at Heinz Funeral Home in Inverness.  A Graveside Service with Military Honors will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell at 11:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ALS Association (ALS.org) or a charity of choice.
