Carroll Maguder

Come join us in a celebration of the life of Carroll Ann Maguder. She will always be remembered for her kind heart, caring personality and beautiful smile which had the ability to light up any room.

In the last few years Carroll faced many challenges and met them all head on with  class, humor and strength that was uplifting to all those around her. The last challenge, though she fought valiantly, she succumbed to on July 6th, 2015.

Carroll was born April 9th 1949 to Fran & Doris (Carroll) Slater. She leaves behind her Loving husband of 46 years Robert (Bob) Maguder, her daughter Kristin Berry & husband Christopher and her Son Robert (Scott) Maguder & his wife Kelly, both of Wallingford, CT. She is also survived by her brothers Robert & Gail Slater and Billy Slater also from Wallingford, CT. She was predeceased by her Father, Mother, Step Mother Jean Slater and sister Susan Slater. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

Carroll also had a large extended Florida family made up of many caring and generous   long time friends with whom she shared many great times and adventures with.

For 17 years she greeted patients for Dr. Mark Rogers setting up appointments and handling insurance claims. She often spoke fondly of the patients she had come to know so well.
