Christel Charlotte Bienwald, 97 of Inverness, Florida.
On Sunday, November 19, 2023 Christel passed away peacefully at home.
She was born on August 14, 1926 in Belgard, Pommerania, now Germany. She and her husband Wolfgang immigrated to the United States in 1952, living on Long Island and lastly in Inverness.
She is survived by her husband of 78 years, Wolfgang, her two sons and their wives, Bernd and Marion, Ralph and Donna, two grandchildren and their spouses, Brian and Christina, Lauren and Vasilis Koskota and one great grandchild, Steven Wolfgang. We all loved and will greatly miss her joyous spirit.
A viewing will he held Monday, November 27 from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM, with a service to follow at the Heinz Funeral Home:
