Dennis Moore

Dennis Joseph Moore, 66, of Inverness, FL died on October 14, 2013 at Hospice of Citrus County, Inverness, FL.  Dennis was born on November 26, 1946 in St. Louis, Missouri the son of Ken and Jane Moore. His love of fishing and boating led him to move to Inverness in 2003 from Fort Lauderdale, FL.

He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Dennis was a proud member of Sprinklerfitters Local 821. He began his career in the field in 1971. He progressed to Business Agent in 1986 and then Business Manager in 1991. He served the members with great distinction until his retirement in 2003.

Survivors include his wife; Elizabeth ( Kris)  Moore, Inverness, FL.; daughters; Joi Ely and her husband Dave, Inverness, FL; Kelly Moore, Ft. Lauderdale, FL; grandchildren; Cody Joseph Ely and Lauren Jeanne Ely both of Inverness, FL; sister; Carol DeLong and husband Bob of Mobile, Alabama and nephews

Visiting hours for Mr. Moore will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2013 from 4 PM to 7:00 PM with a Vigil Service at 6:30 PM at Heinz Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Inverness, FL. on Friday, October18, 2013 at 10:30 AM.
