Diane Barnes

Diane Jones Barnes, 87, of Beverly Hills, entered the presence of her

Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 27, 2023, following a brief illness.

The daughter of Alfred Clifford Jones and Thelma McCarty Jones, Diane

was born March 11, 1936, in Washington, PA. She graduated from

Bentleyville (Pa.) High School in 1954 and the Stenotype Institute of

Pittsburgh in 1955. She married Donald L. Barnes March 14, 1959, in

Bentleyville. They became the parents of Debra Dawn (David) DeBalski

in 1960 and DeAnne Linn (John) Nabholz in 1962.

Throughout her life, she glorified her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by

serving congregations in Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland and Florida

as a church organist and pianist, most recently at Ocala West United

Methodist Church.

Preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Bonnie (Richard)

Weber, Diane is survived by her husband, her daughters, sons-in-law,

and eight grandchildren: Anna, Daniel and Luke DeBalski and Matthew,

Stephen, Samuel (Robin), Jakob (Madison) and David Nabholz.

A service of worship to God in gratitude for Diane’s life will be held at

Seven Rivers Presbyterian Church in Lecanto at 10 a.m., August 2. She

asked that memorial gifts be directed to Seven Rivers Church and

School.
