Elizabeth Carrel Panos-Klug , 69, of Inverness, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2017. Elizabeth (a/k/a Penny) was born in White Plains in 1948 and moved to Plant City shortly afterwards. Her parents, Leotha and Philip Panos who predeceased Penny, taught her to enjoy life and the good things that included fast cars, animals, sailing, and the outdoors. She graduated from Plant City High School. Later, she attended USF New College and became Clinical Lab Technician. She retired from Citrus Memorial Hospital, where she worked for many years. In addition to these skills, Penny was also very talented in the field of computer networks and went on to co-own Crystal Wind Communications in Lecanto.
She is survived by family, friends, as well as furry friends that will miss her dearly. A Celebration of Life will be held on December 2, 2017 at Heinz Funeral Home in Inverness at 11:00.
