Elvira Stanley

Stanley. Elvira Margaret, 87, of Inverness, Florida, passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Vitas Hospice in Lecanto. Elvira was born in Berlin Germany in 1934. She was the only daughter of Heinrich and Margaret Stadelhofer. She came to the United States to marry her Army sweetheart, Joseph Stanley, and resided in Wisconsin before moving to Florida. They have 4 children: Doris, Michael, Patrick, and Joseph; 9 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Inverness on Friday, July 8th at 10AM. Inurnment will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell at 11:30AM. A Celebration of Life will follow.

In lieu of flowers, family suggests a Mass Card or contributions in Mrs. Stanley’s name be made to Vitas Hospice.
