Endrico Jr.

Endrico Lugo, Jr., 82, of Inverness, FL died on September 20, 2016 at HPH Hospice House in Lecanto, FL.  Endrico was born on July 10, 1934 in New York, NY, son of Endrico and Conchita Lugo.  He was a cement mason in New York City before moving to Miami in 1980.  Endrico worked for Eastern Airlines and then American Airlines before retiring in 2000.  Upon retirement, he and his wife Yolanda moved to Inverness.  He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus #6391, and the 4 ^th Degree Knights of Columbus Assembly 1547 in Lecanto, FL.  He was also a member of the Spanish American Club of Citrus County.

Mr. Lugo is preceded in death by his sons, Richard Cintron and Edward Lugo and brothers Frank Lugo, Len Melendez, Michael Rodriquez, and William Melendez.  Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Yolanda Lugo of Inverness, FL; children, Endrico Lugo of Oklahoma City, OK, Rene Cintron of Inverness, FL, and Louise A. Welter and husband Thomas of Westfield, IN; brother, Ray Melendez of Inverness, FL; sisters Juliette Muncy of Spring Hill, FL, Mariam Lugo of New Jersey, Margaret Lugo of Orlando, FL and Georgiana Viera of Inverness, FL; twelve grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Inverness, FL.  Father Timothy Cummings will preside.  Private interment will be held at Hills of Rest Cemetery in Floral City, FL.  Heinz Funeral Home & Cremation, Inverness, FL.
