Everett McPhillips

Everett L. McPhillips, 89, of Hernando, FL, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2019 in Lecanto. He was born in Providence, RI on May 27, 1930, the son of Leonard and Leona McPhillips.  He was a US Army Veteran and a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Inverness.

He worked in sales for 45 years.  His hobbies included golf and hockey.

Mr. McPhillips was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Orietta McPhillips; son, Lawrence McPhillips; and brother, John McPhillips.  He is survived by his son, William McPhillips of Clermont, FL.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Inverness. Mr. McPhillips will be laid to rest next to his wife at Village Cemetery in Rehoboth, Massachusetts.
