Larry Rhinesmith, 98, of Lecanto, FL, passed away on September 21, 2023.
He was born in Passaic, NJ on April 16, 1925, to the late Leo and Martha
Rhinesmith.
Mr. Rhinesmith served in the US Army Air Forces during World War II,
where he received a Purple Heart. He owned and operated a television sales
and service store. After moving to Citrus County, he worked for 15 years as
a security guard at Citrus Memorial Hospital. In his spare time, he enjoyed
playing golf and travelling, especially trips to Branson, which he did quite
often.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Glenn Ann; siblings, Carolyn
Cramer (Al), and Marg Maxfield (Bill).
Survivors include his son, Lance Rhinesmith; 2 grandchildren, Melissa
Marshal (Colin) and Brittney Northrup; 3 great grandchildren, Lux, Jude,
and Adaline.
Mr. Rhinesmith will be laid to rest next to his wife, at Florida National
Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. A Graveside Service will
be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, with military honors.
