Frederick Sansone

Frederick T. Sansone, 78, of Inverness, FL, passed away on May 25, 2022, in Brooksville, FL.  He was born on March 2, 1944, in Brooklyn, NY.

After retiring as a Detective in New York City, he relocated to Inverness in 1985.  He enjoyed restoring cars, vacationing with his wife, and attending car shows.  He was a collector of Superman memorabilia, penny banks and coins.  He made carnival games for the holidays. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Ronnie Sansone; son, Freddie Sansone and his wife Shelley; daughters, Jennifer Berbert and her husband Tommy, and Christine Gruttadauria and her husband Michael; and seven grandchildren, Thomas, Garrett, Christine, Taylor, Freddie, Weston, and Allison.

The family will begin receiving friends at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Heinz Funeral Home in Inverness.  A Funeral Service will start at 12:30 PM. Reception to follow at the Sansone residence immediately following a procession for Fred through his neighborhood.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Moffitt Cancer Center, in Memory of Fred Sansone.
