Gerald McKeehan

Gerald J. McKeehan, 81, of Inverness, FL died on August 19, 2017 at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness, FL.  Gerald was born on February 4, 1936 in Wausau, WI, son of Fay “Mac” and Ferne McKeehan.  He married Lou Ann Christian on September 15, 1979.  Jerry was a salesman for Wausau Chemical and a petroleum product specialist for Cenex Petroleum.  After retiring, he moved to Inverness where he was blessed with great neighbors.   He enjoyed spending time with his family, his motorcycles, fishing, cheering on the Green Bay Packers, meeting up with friends for breakfast, and trips to the casino.

Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, sister Jolene, and brother-in-law Randy Peterson.  Survivors include his loving wife of 37 years, Lou Ann McKeehan; his furry kids, Riley and Haley; three children, Ric McKeehan and wife Jayne of Clearwater, FL, Craig “Tige” McKeehan and husband Charlie Quiroz of St. Petersburg, FL, and John McKeehan and wife Nancy of Hersey, MI; sister, Jackie Peterson of Merrill, WI; six grandchildren, Sharon Garcia and husband Javier of Phoenix, AZ, Steven Fenn of Phoenix, AZ, Nick Mullins of Clearwater, FL, Sean McKeehan-Quiroz of St. Petersburg, FL, Nicole Young and husband Billy of Holly, MI, and Brian McKeehan of Holly, MI; three great grandchildren, Leighanna Garcia, Angela Young, and Aiden Young; former wife, Harriet and her husband Dale Schlueter of Clearwater, FL; longtime friend Terry (Julie Cerrato) Adleman; nieces and nephews, Mike, Mark and Ginger Peterson; Connie Nowak and husband Brian and their children Dawson and Emma; Amy and husband Brian Marquardt and their children Mariah, Dylan and Henry; Nicole and husband Greg Melander and their children Brayden and Bianca.  A Celebration of Life will be private.  Arrangements by Heinz Funeral Home & Cremation, Inverness, FL.  heinzfh.com
