Geraldine Aylor

Geraldine E. Aylor, 89, of Hernando, FL died on January 6, 2015 at her home.  Geraldine was born on October 5, 1925 in Buchanan, VA, daughter of James and Maude Bryan.  She was a telephone operator for Chesapeake & Potomac Telephone Company and AT&T for 42 years.  Geraldine was a member of Temple Hills Baptist Church in Temple Hills, MD. She moved to Hernando in 2006 from Waldorf, MD.

Geraldine was preceded in death by her son, Raymond Aylor in 2003.    Survivors include her daughters, Margaret Wright and husband Gary of Hernando, FL, and Evelyn Vaughn and husband Herbert, Inverness, FL; three grandchildren, Brian Keith of Nashville, TN,  Lisa Moore of Hernando, FL, and Michelle Merchant and husband Craig of Waldorf, MD; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services for Ms. Aylor will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Heinz Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service.  Interment will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Suitland, MD.  Heinz Funeral Home & Cremation, Inverness, FL.
