On 10/26/23 Glenn Frank Newton left his earthly home to begin his eternal life. His short battle with cancer declared his ultimate victory as he stepped into the presence of our Lord and Savior.
He leaves behind his wife of 53 years, Carrol Newton, son Grant Newton, daughter-in-law Michelle Newton, and grandson Lars Newton of Raleigh, NC, and son Craig Newton, daughter-in-law Lisa Newton, and granddaughter Emilee Newton of Castle Rock, CO.
Frank was born in Albany, GA, on 9/21/44. He grew up in Tampa and then moved to Dalton, GA, during his high school years. He was a Navy veteran. He had a successful career in surgical bur production. His biggest interest was history and he was always in pursuit of learning more on his favorite subject. Family and friends will remember him for his great sense of humor and kindness. He raised the bar very high as he set an example of unending love for his family, courage, patriotism and faith in God.
Mr. Newton will be interred at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL in a private service at a later date.
