Hans Kott

Hans P. Kott, 74, of Hernando, FL, passed away on November 27, 2019 in Lecanto, FL.  He was born on May 22, 1945 in Ludwigsburg, Germany.

Hans was the owner of Knott Brake Company in Lodi, OH.  He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and a member of the Christ of King Church in Lodi, OH where he served as a Church Council Elder.  After relocating to Florida in 2013, Mr. Kott became a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Hernando.  He enjoyed visiting the Withlacoochee Bike Trail in his free time.

Survivors include his wife of 11 years, Anne Storan of Hernando, FL; three children, Joseph Kott and his wife Ericka of Westfield Center, OH, Nathan Kott of Lakewood, OH, and Hannah Magrum and her husband Thomas of Medina, OH; two stepchildren, Jeffrey Storan and his wife Jean Kim of Brooklyn, NY, and Catherine Storan and her husband Alexander Finn of Victoria, British Columbia; six grandchildren, Benjamin, Avery, Cameron, Odin, Corbin Hans, and Adeline; and four step grandchildren, Thierry, Alistair, Sofie, and Luca.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM, on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Hernando.
