James Ruggiero

James Ruggiero, 80, of Hernando, FL, passed away on May 10, 2023.  He was born in Brooklyn, NY on January 14, 1943, to the late Paul and Carolyn Ruggiero. Mr. Ruggiero has lived in the area for 41 years. He was a business owner who previously owned Cash Register Works and at one time, Brooklyn Deli in Ocala. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, and boating. James was Catholic by faith, a veteran of the United States Army, and a former Police Reservist in New York.

James is survived by his daughters: Lisa Czapka and her husband Damian, Theresa Brunetti and her husband Michael, and Joyce Ruggiero; and her grandchildren: Kristen, James, Loralei, Lauren, and Michelle.

Mr. Ruggerio was preceded in by death by his wife of 55 years in December of 2022.

A service was held celebrating his life and he will be interred at later at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
