John Thomas Dalton , age 70, of  Homosassa, FL died on October 31, 2013 at his residence under the loving care of his family and Hospice of Citrus County. He was born on July 11, 1943 in Brooklyn, New York  the son of Herbert and Catherine Dalton. John was an automotive mechanic and a US Army Viet Nam veteran. He was Catholic. John enjoyed playing Bingo and had a love for life. He moved to Homosassa, FL two years ago from North Port, FL.

John was predeceased by his parents; brothers: Philip and Kevin Dalton, son: Scott Dalton, and daughter Annemarie. Survivors include; son: Richard Dalton, daughters: Roseanne Carver and Maryann Harrison, all of Homosassa, FL, brothers: Herbert and Robert Dalton and sister Catherine all of North Port, FL, 11 grandchildren ,4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.Visitation for Mr. Dalton will take place at Heinz Funeral Home on Friday, November 8, 2013 from 3PM until 4:30 PM.  A military honor  service will begin at 4:30 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Citrus County. Arrangements by Heinz Funeral Home, Inverness, FL.
