John "Jack" Evans

John H. Evans, 88, of Inverness, FL, died on May 28, 2021, at home under the loving care of his family and Vitas Hospice.  John was born December 14, 1932 in Abbington, PA, the son of Horace and Cynthia Evans. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Eileen Evans.

John “Jack” was a Baptist and a veteran of the US Navy. He retired from Pratt & Whitney Aircraft where he worked as a Quality Analyst. He loved horses, fishing and camping.  He was a past President of the Jupiter Horsemen’s Association and Treasurer of the Citrus County Horse Association.

Survivors include two children, Guy H. Evans and his wife, Malia of Indio, CA and Kathy Bonner of Inverness, FL; grandchildren, Stephanie Bonner of Inverness, Guy Evans Jr. of San Diego, CA, and Livi McHorney of San Diego, CA; as well as six great grandchildren.
