Joseph Riccio

Joseph J. Riccio, 62, of Inverness, FL, passed away December 30, 2019.  He was born on September 1, 1957 in Bethpage, New York, the son of Anthony and Mae Riccio.

Joseph was a chef and the owner of the House Dough Restaurant in Massapequa, New York.  He moved to Inverness from Seaford, Long Island, NY in 2006.  He was a member of the Gulf to Lake Church in Crystal River.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include by his wife, Melanie Riccio of Inverness, FL; four children, Melina Sabloski (Richie) of East Meadow, NY, Keira Espada (Joel Orbes) of Deland, FL, Niko Barber (Emily Trypuc) of Amityville, NY, and Gino Riccio of Inverness, FL; a brother, Carmine Riccio of CA; a niece, Marianna Riccio of CA; as well as three grandchildren, Tiana and Antonio Espada of Deland, FL, and Gloria Sabloski of East Meadow, NY.

A Funeral Service will be held at 6:30 PM on Friday, January 10, 2020 at the Heinz Funeral Home in Inverness. A Visitation will begin at 3:00 PM until the time of service.
