Karen M. Frank, 57, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on February 2, 2025. After a long battle with M.S., God took her home. She was born in Holland, Michigan, on June 7, 1967, the daughter of Edwin and Ruth Ann Bombly.
Karen was more than a homemaker; she homeschooled all five of her children and was dedicated to her Catholic faith. She liked being outdoors grilling and cooking on the smoker for her family. She enjoyed gardening and was obsessed with flowers, especially white roses and pink flowers. She liked watching the Tampa Bay Bucs and Gator football games.
Karen’s family describes her as a prankster, there was always laughter around her. She was a great friend. People would say that she was such a warm and welcoming person.
Survivors include, her husband, of 37 years, Richard Frank; her children, Jacob Frank, Maria Van Don (Joshua), Elizabeth Nieves (Joseph), Katherine Frank, and Nicholas Frank; siblings, Annie, Mary, Trish, Laura, Jeannie, Debbie, Michael, Matthew, and Christopher; and five grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 PM, on Friday, February 14, 2025, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Inverness. Interment will follow at Hills of Rest Cemetery in Floral City.
