Karen Jane Ocheltree

Karen Jane "Janie" Allen Ocheltree went to her eternal home on March 5, 2022.  Janie was 75, born January 20, 1947 in Ironton, Ohio.  She graduated from Dawson-Bryant High School with the class of 1965.  She went to King's Daughters School of Nursing and graduated in 1968 as an RN.

Janie married the love of her life, Mike Ocheltree, on July 10, 1976..

Janie had many talents.  First becoming a nurse, then a Weight Watcher leader, beautician, and realtor.  In her spare time, she enjoyed going to the beach, photography, painting, and decorating.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Mike Ocheltree, and her parents, Dan and Marie Allen.  She leaves behind a stepson, Steve Ocheltree (Heidi); stepdaughter, Shelley Ocheltree Baughman; sister, Jean Joviak; brother, Daniel Allen (Marilyn); sister, Katherine Sarginson (Don); Nieces: Julie Reardon, Trisha Whitezel (Raymond); and nephew Matthew Allen (Jennifer);  Great nieces: Haley Whitzel and Annabelle Allen; and great nephews: Joshua Whitzel, Mac Reardon and Colton Allen.

She was a member of Citrus Missionary Baptist Church in Inverness, FL.  She was blessed and loved by her brothers and sisters in Christ she had there.

Services will be held on March 10, 2022 at the Citrus Missionary Baptist Church, 6690 E. Turner Camp Road, Inverness, FL 34453.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. concluding with a service at 11:00. A luncheon will follow immediately after in the church fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Citrus Missionary Baptist Church would be appreciated.
