Lavetta Stryjewski

Lavetta Taylor Stryjewski , 82, of Floral City, Florida died on May 15, at her home. She was born was born in Kershaw, South Carolina, the daughter of Hazel and Ansel Taylor. Lavetta is survived by her husband, of 58 years, Stanley J.  Stryjewski, son; John Stryjewski and his wife Elizabeth of Merritt Island, Florida, daughter; Joann Reed and her husband Larry of Cedar Falls, Iowa, grandchildren; Camden Stryjewski, MacLaine Stryjewski, James Reed and his wife April,  and great-grandchildren; Eloise, Sebastian, and Estelle.

Lavetta and Stanley moved to Floral City, Florida in 1978. Lavetta loved to read, especially the classics. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles. She loved to cook for her family and always enjoyed her time when they were all together.

Lavetta’s family will receive friends at the Heinz Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service. The funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Gregory Kell, officiating. Interment will follow at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
