Leona G. Reesey

Leona G. Reesey, 93, of Inverness, FL, passed away on November 30, 2023.  She was born in Johnstown, PA, on August 1, 1930, to the late John and Mary Repko.

Mrs. Reesey worked as an English teacher at Ridgewood High School in Pasco County. She was a former board member for the Regency Park C.O.A. in Inverness. As a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, she participated in Helping Hands and the Catholic Women’s Club. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Frederick Reesey Sr.

Survivors include her four children, Georgeanne Reesey, Frederick Reesey Jr., Barbara Reesey, and Ellen Donovan; as well as four grandchildren, Tyler, Katelyn, A.J. and Rory.
