LeVerne Lee

The Lord, through a veil of tears has taken my love home.

LeVerne J. Lee , 81, of Inverness, FL died on June 10, 2014 in Tampa, FL. LeVerne was born March 25, 1933 in Westby ,WI the son of Lyder and Josie Lee. He was a US Army veteran and graduate of University of Wisconsin. LeVerne retired from Ford Motor Company where he worked in the Finance Dept.

He moved to Inverness, FL in 1994 from Troy, MI.  He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Hernando, FL. He valued family and his Christian faith above all else.

Verne loved to golf, play Bridge and attend the theater.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years Joyce Lee of Inverness, FL; sons Mark Nagy (Michelle) of Canton, MI and Jerrold Lee of St. Petersburg, FL; daughters; Sandra Anderson (Steve) of Broomfield, CO, Judy Brown (Scott) of Odessa, FL, Janice Husak (Nick) of New Port Richey, FL; brother, Don Lee (Mary) of Westby, WI; sister; Sonia Solberg (Roger) of Westby, WI and ten grandchildren; Mark Jr., Michael, Mitchell, Rachel, Tegan, Cole, Alexa, Connor, Nicholas, and Jessica.

Mr. Lee’s family will receive friends on Wed, June 18, 2014   from 10:00 am to the hour of service at the Heinz Funeral Home in Inverness, FL.  Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am.  Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. Memorial gifts can be given to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church or the charity of your choice.
