Lillian Smith

Lillian M. Smith , 73, of Hernando, FL, died at her home under the loving care of her family and Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast.  Lillian was born on February 9, 1943 in St. Thomas, Jamaica the daughter of Joel and Zyopor Frazer.  As a senior sales director for Mary Kay Cosmetics Lillian had a career that spanned 36 years.  Lillian moved to Hernando in 2003, from Freeport, NY, where she served as a member and was a three-year board president of the Unity Church of Citrus County in Lecanto, FL.  Lillian was widely known throughout Citrus County as a result of her community service and involvement. Lillian was an Ambassador for the Citrus County Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Business Women Alliance (BWA), Leadership Citrus and a Woman of Impact 2004.  Survivors include her husband of 51 years 6 months, Denis M. Smith of Hernando, FL; son Dennis Steven Smith and his wife Kaye Cyrus of Brambleton, VA; daughter Dr. Stephanie D. Smith-Browne and her husband Julian Browne of Wokingham, UK; sisters Vilda Badchkam and Lynn Overton both of Port Charlotte, FL; brothers Wilton Fraser of Port Charlotte, FL; Lloyd Fraser of New York, NY; Lynden Fraser of St. Thomas, Jamaica; and two grandchildren Joel Smith-Browne and Meryn Smith-Browne, both of Wokingham, UK.

A Memorial service for Lillian will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at the Unity Church of Citrus County, 2628 W. Woodview Lane, Lecanto, FL 34461.
