Loretta Julia Krolewski, 90, of Inverness, FL ended her earthy journey on December 22, 2014 at Shands at University of Florida Hospital in Gainesville, FL following a recently acquired illness.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA to her parents, the late Paul and Mary Kobeski, she attended Marymount School, graduating in 1942. After working for the department of the Navy during World War II, she returned to the valley, married and worked in the clothing industry during most of her life. Retiring in the 1980’s, she moved to Florida to be with family and appreciate the warmer climate. Loretta enjoyed gardening and served on the family support team for the 345 th Combat Support Hospital in Jacksonville, FL. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Inverness.
She was preceded in death by her older sister, Bertha Yourelonis who ended her time on this earth two months ago. In addition to her sister, she also succeeded her brother, Charles Kobeski and sister, Lottie Yatsko.
Loretta is survived by her son, Edward Krolewski and his wife Jane of Inverness, FL; grandson, Michael Ferullo and his wife Alexandra of Huston, TX; nephew, Charles Yourelonis of Hanover Township, PA; niece, Bernadine Yochum of Exeter, PA; niece Gail Humko and husband David of Harding PA; and nephew, Robert Yochum and wife Kim of Harding, PA.
The family will receive friends between the hours of 2:00 and 6:00 p.m. on Friday, December 26, 2014 at Heinz Funeral Home with a vigil service at 5:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Inverness, FL. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Hanover Township, PA. Heinz Funeral Home & Cremation, Inverness, FL.
