Loretto Rose Sullivan , 94, formerly of Inverness, FL, died on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at Prince William Hospital, Manassas, VA. Loretto was born on August 14, 1918 in Crysler, Ontario, Canada, the daughter of James and Julia Lynch. She was an assistant labor attaché for the Canadian Embassy in Washington, D. C. Loretto was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, and the Catholic Women’s Club and prayer group.
She was predeceased by her husband, Michael James Sullivan. Survivors include her children; Maureen Sullivan-Burke, Warrenton, VA, Kathleen Sullivan-Katz, Gainesville,VA, James Sullivan, Austin, TX, Michael Sullivan, Inverness, FL; grandchildren; Tara Pomposello, Denver, CO, Sophia Seiverth-Sullivan, New York, Shelley Sullivan-Katz, Honolulu, HI, and Rhiannon Sullivan, Austin TX; and numerous nieces and nephews from Ontario, Canada and Erie, PA.
Visiting hours for Mrs. Sullivan will be Monday, June 17, 2013 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Heinz Funeral Home and Cremation. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at 10 AM at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Inverness, FL. The officiant will be Fr. James Johnson. Burial will be at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. Arrangements by Heinz Funeral Home and Cremation, Inverness, FL.
