Margaret Montana, 74, of Beverly HIlls, FL, passed away on December 5, 2019 in Lecanto. She was born on May 15, 1945 in Hackensack, NJ, the daughter of Margaret and Charles Aversa.
She worked as the Executive Assistant to the President of Columbia University in New York City, NY.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rudolph "Rudy" Montana; and a sister, Charlotte Sprofera. Survivors include her nephew, John Sprofera and his wife Kirsten of Wayne, NJ; a grandniece, Lucy Anne of Wayne, NJ; stepson, John Pierce and his wife Suzanne of Bloomfield, NJ; step granddaughter Annaka Pierce of Bloomfield, NJ; and many cousins including, Anne Sylvester and her husband, Peter of Cocoa Beach, FL.
Memorial donations can be made to "Friends of the Citrus County Library System" at 425 W. Roosevelt Blvd., Beverly Hills, FL 34465.
