Margaret Riley

Margaret E. Riley, 85, of Floral City, FL, died on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at the Hospice of Citrus County House in Lecanto, FL.  Margaret was born on February 20, 1928 in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of William and Julia Keegan.  She moved to Floral City in 1985 from Warwick, NY.  Margaret was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Inverness, FL. She was a member of the VFW Post #4337 Ladies Auxiliary.

Mrs. Riley is preceded in death by her husband Billy Riley in 2012, daughter, Veronica Baird, brothers and sisters, Joseph, William, Rose, Julia, Rita, Veronica, Helen (twin), and Florence, and brother-in-law, Wally Hillebrecht.  Survivors include her son, Charles Riley and wife, Deborah of New Derry, PA; three grandchildren, Mark Baird, Keegan Watson, and Shannon Mazzoni; six great grandchildren, Cody, Taylor, Riley, Jake, Sophia, and Lola; and sister-in-law, Pat Hillebrecht.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 1, 2013 at the Heinz Funeral Home with a vigil at 3:30 p.m.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, December 2, 2013 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Inverness.  Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.  Heinz Funeral Home & Cremation, Inverness, FL.
