Margaret Rushford

Margaret K. Rushford (Peggy) , 72, of Floral City, FL died July 2, 2014 at her home. Margaret was born Feb 26, 1942 in Philadelphia, PA the daughter of George and Margaret (Carr) White. Peggy was a private investigator and process server.

She moved to Inverness in 1996 from Orange Park, FL. She

was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Inverness, FL.

Peggy was preceded in death by her husband Richard (Dick) Rushford and sister Dorothy McNeill.

Survivors include three sons, Larry Baker (Hope) of Summerfield, FL, Jimmy Rushford of Jacksonville, FL and John Rushford (Linda) of Henderson, NV; three daughters, Peggy Quade (Jim) of Mundelein IL, Michele Wilson (Rex) of Inverness, FL and Rosalie Thomas (Jim) of Elizabeth City, NC; two brothers, George White, of Alabama and Walter White of Hernando, FL; sister, Anne Douglass of Inverness, FL, 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Peggy’s family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 from 4 pm to 7 pm at the Heinz Funeral Home in Inverness. There will be a Vigil Service at 6:30 PM.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Withlapopka Civic Assoc. 11104 E. Flounder Dr. Floral City, FL 34436.
