Martha Gibson

Martha M. Gibson, 96, of Lecanto, FL, passed away on January 26, 2022 in Inverness.  She was born on March 6, 1925 in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of the late John & Mary Bammer.

Martha enjoyed arts & crafts and cooking for Lynn and his coworkers.  She liked burnt hotdogs over the campfire.  During the holidays, she liked setting up her Christmas village and trains.  Martha was the only one in the family to get a hole-in-one while playing golf.

Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Robert.  Survivors include her sons, John and his wife Janet, Robert and his wife Kathy and Lynn and his wife Fran; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:30 PM, Sunday, February 6, 2022 at the Heinz Funeral Home in Inverness. The family will begin receiving friends at 2:00 PM.  Martha will b e laid to rest with her husband at Grace Memorial Gardens at a later date.
