Ralph A. Homan, 91, of Inverness, FL, passed away on November 10, 2024. He was born in St. Anthony, OH, on to September 21, 1933, to the late Edward and Catherine Homan.

Mr. Homan worked as a concrete mason in the construction industry. He was a veteran of the US Navy. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. His hobbies included fishing, vegetable gardening and growing blueberries.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Barbara Homan; two sons, Randal Homan and his fiancé Petra, and Roger Homan and his wife Jennifer; and grandsons, Dustyn Homan and fiancé Makenna Bruick, Dalton Homan and wife Madison and great grandson Holden, and Dakota Homan and significant other Brooke Perry.  Also left behind are his two brothers, Dan Homan and his wife Linda and Laverne Homan; and three sisters, Lucille Barna, Marie Schroyer, and Margie Gentry; and sisters-in-law, Donna Homan and Jane Homan.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Leon Homan, Tony Homan, Wilbur Homan and his wife Mary Ann, Ott Homan and his wife Rita, and Ernie Homan and his wife Janet; brothers-in-law, Ronnie Barna, Junior Schroyer, and Ted Gentry; and sister-in-law, Mary Homan. 

On Tuesday, November 19, 2024, a Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM at Heinz Funeral Home in Inverness. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00 AM, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Inverness. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Knights of Columbus #6391, 550 US Hwy. 41 S., Inverness, FL 34450.
