Raphael Williams

Raphael (Ray) Williams, 66, of Hernando passed away on April 18, 2015 in Citrus Hills, Florida of a sudden heart attack.  Ray was born on August 11, 1948 in Barbados. He worked for the United Nations for the majority of his life in several locations including New York, Iran, Cambodia, Arusha, Mozambique, Kosovo, Cote d'Ivoire and Afghanistan. Six years ago, he decided to retire and settle in sunny Florida - enjoying the relaxed lifestyle of swimming, working out at the gym, playing pickle ball, watching every sport and photographing the amazing sunsets from his lanai. Ray is survived by his wife, Cynthia, his sons, Andre and Tony, his stepdaughter Sharon, and her husband Brian, and his "grands" Kayden, Nathan and Kayla.

All are invited to attend a funeral mass which will be held on Friday, April 24, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 6 Roosevelt Blvd, Beverly Hills, Florida 34465.  Heinz Funeral Home & Cremation, Inverness, FL.
