Robert Richardson

Robert “Skip” Richardson , 76, of Inverness, FL died on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Citrus Memorial Hospital, Inverness, FL.  Skip was born on December 27, 1936 in Lancaster, OH, son of Vernon and Helen Richardson.  He was a Lieutenant for the City of Columbus Fire Department and served in the U.S. Army Reserves.  Skip was a life member of the Charity Newsies in Columbus, OH.  In 1980, he moved from Columbus to Inverness where he was a member of the Inverness Golf and Country Club, Moose Lodge 2112 and Eagles Club 3992.

Skip was preceded in death by his brothers, Vernon Richardson and Frederick Richardson and sister, Bertha Richardson.  Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Delores Richardson of Inverness, FL; sister, Linda Wiggins of Duluth, MN; sister-in-law, Susie Hunter and her husband Bill; and four nieces and nephews, Tom, Nancy, Sally, and Robin.  Heinz Funeral Home & Cremation, Inverness, FL.
