Robert Teague

Robert F. Teague, 82, of Inverness, FL died on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast House in Lecanto.  Bob was born May 16, 1935 in Chicago, IL, son of Hurshel and Helen Teague.  He served in the U.S. Marines in Korea.  Bob was a driver for ABF Freight Lines.  He and his wife were winter residents since 1996 and moved here full time in 2000 from Decatur, IL.  Bob was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Hernando, FL.  He was a proud member of the Marine Corps League Citrus Detachment 819, the VFW Post 4252 in Hernando, FL, and the DAV.

Mr. Teague is preceded in death by his parents and brother, William E. Teague.  Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Judy Teague of Inverness, FL; his daughter Cynthia Lynne Scott of Decatur, IL; his son Douglas Robert Teague of Decatur, IL; three grandchildren, Adam R. Scott and his wife Lisa of Chandler, AZ, Tera Thompson and husband Damen of Decatur, IL, and Amber N. Teague of Clinton, IL; and eight great grandsons, Carson Lee Buggar of Clinton, IL, Landin James Scott of Decatur, IL, Dylan Jacob Scott of Chandler, AZ, Jonathin Michael Scott of Decatur, IL, Tracin Lee Thompson of Decatur, IL, Gavin Franklin Scott of Chandler, AZ, Rylin Larue Thompson of Decatur, IL, and Deklin Isaiah Thompson of Decatur, IL.

Memorial services for Mr. Teague will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Hernando, FL.  Military Honors will be provided by the Marine Corps League Citrus Detachment 819.  Interment will be at Macon County Memorial Park in Harristown, IL at a later date.  Heinz Funeral Home & Cremation, Inverness, FL.  heinzfh.com
