Ronald L. Coker, 67, of Dunnellon, FL, passed away on May 26, 2024. He was born in Louisville, KY, on April 28, 1957, to the late Charles and Shirley Coker.

He worked as a power house mechanic at Duke Energy for 40 years.   He was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Crystal River.  Ron had a great smile and he never met a stranger.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his side by side and tractor. He loved being a Papa.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Lynn Coker; two daughters, Shauna O’Steen and her husband Willis, and Stacey Clyatt and her husband Roy; a son, Clinton Coker and his wife Sarah; a brother, Richard Coker; as well as five grandchildren, Haylea O’Steen, McKenzey O’Steen, Landon Coker, Harper Coker and Wrenley Coker.  

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 31, 2024, at Heinz Funeral Home in Inverness.  The family will begin receiving friends at the funeral home at 12:00 PM.  Following the service, Mr. Coker will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Inverness.
