Rosena Sowers

Rosena "Rose" Kay Sowers, 72, of Floral City, FL, went to be with the Lord on January 17, 2024.  She passed away peacefully at home and has been reunited with the love of her life, husband Milton who passed away in 2015.

She was born on March 19, 1951, to the late Charles and Virginia Sensabaugh in Marion, IN.  She has resided here in Florida for the last 32 years.

She is survived by her son, Christopher "Tony" Blevins; daughter, Rosena "Renee" Blevins; stepson, Johnny Williams; grandson, Austin Blevins; granddaughter, Addison Garcia; and grandson, Logan Williams.  She left behind two siblings, sister, Nancy Lettellier and brother, Lynn Sensabaugh; many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.

She cherished her time with family and friends.  She enjoyed reading and scrapbooking in her spare time.  She was an animal lover and adored her dachshund, Cocoa. She was loved more than she ever knew and will be missed greatly.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, January 29, 2024, at 11:00 AM, at Heinz Funeral Home in Inverness.  Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery at 1:00 PM, where she will be placed with her late husband, Milton.
