Ruth Kinney

Ruth E. Kinney, 69 of Hernando, FL, died on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at the Hospice House in Lecanto under the loving care of her children.  Ruth was born on March 9, 1948 in Worchester, MA the daughter of Francis and Margaret Tremblay.

Ruth was a member of the first staff that opened the Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast House in 2008.  She was a member of St. Scholastica Catholic Church in Lecanto, FL.  Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, C. Nelson Kinney in 2015 and her parents.

Survivors include three children Brian Kinney and his wife Laura of Winter Park, FL, Carolyn Kittredge and her husband Darius of West Brookfield, MA, and David Kinney and his wife Alicia of Beverly Hills, FL; brother Hector E. Tremblay; sister Evelyn Spedding; two grandchildren, Arianna and David Jr.

A memorial mass will be offered at 1:00 pm on Friday, July 21, 2017 at St. Scholastica Catholic Church in Lecanto, FL.
