was born on June 14, 1936, to the late Roy and Maxine (nee Thompson) Pickerell.
She is remembered for being silly, cleaning and yardwork, hunting for bargains at the thrift stores, writing
poetry with her grandkids, watching Wheel of Fortune, her faith in the Lord and time with her family. She
was Baptist by faith.
Shirley leaves behind her 3 children: Rebecca Wirth, Robert Maddox, and Mark Maddox and his wife
Colleen; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; a brother, Gary and his wife Patty Pickerell; 2 sisters:
Beverly Hall and Donna DiLullo.
Friends may call on Thursday, May 30, 2024, from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Heinz Funeral Home where a service will follow at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery at 2:00 PM.
