Stephen O'Brien

Stephen T, O’Brien, 69, of Lecanto, FL, died on Wednesday, December 13, 2017, at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness, FL.  Stephen was born on May 10, 1948 in Waukegan, IL, son of Robert and Helen Lewis.  He was a baker.  Stephen moved to Inverness in 2015 from Ocala and prior to that lived in Naples, FL.

Mr. O’Brien was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Bowerman.  Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Ruth O’Brien; four children, Colleen O’Brien of Ocala, FL, Jamie Roark of Smithville, TN, Brian Hoffman of St. Petersburg, FL, and Stacey Badore of Crystal River, FL; three sisters, Janice Patterson, Sandi Zwade, and Rosemary Flynn; two brothers, Leland O’Brien and Robert Lewis; 17 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.

A memorial service for Mr. O’Brien will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday December 22, 2017 at Heinz Funeral Home & Cremation, Inverness, FL.  heinzfh.com
