Stuart Stibbs

Stuart B. Stibbs , 72, of Inverness, FL died on May 26, 2014 at Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast in Lecanto.  Stuart was born on February 13, 1942 in Brooklyn, NY, son of Leroy and Edith Stibbs.  He served in the U.S. Army.  Stuart was a retired New York City Police Officer and currently employed with Walmart Distribution Center in Asset Protection in Brooksville, FL.  He moved to Inverness in 1986 from Pennsylvania.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Patricia Stibbs; children, Kimberly Stibbs Menster and husband Edward of Crystal River, FL and Peter Stibbs and wife Amber of Inverness, FL; grandchildren, Mia and Kellen Menster, of Crystal River, FL and Liam and Colby Stibbs of Inverness, FL.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 20, 2014 at Heinz Funeral Home and Cremation, Inverness, FL. Jeans and Tee's Please! In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast, P.O. Box 641270, Beverly Hills, FL  34464.
