Susan A. Bingler

Susan Ann Bingler, 65, passed away peacefully in Inverness, Florida on August 19,
2023. Susan was born in Brooklyn, New York on April 8, 1958 to Donald and Ellen
Dwyer. Soon after, the family moved to Commack, Long Island, where Susan attended
Commack High School South. She then received her bachelor’s in History from Stony
Brook University and her Masters in Counseling and Psychology from Troy University.
Susan was married to Rob Bingler for 38 years, and together they had two sons, Steven
and Andrew. They met while working at Allstate Insurance in Coconut Creek, Fla. and
were together for over 40 years. Susan retired in 2022 from Kid’s Central, Inc in
Wildwood, Fla where she was a Supervisor of Family Preservation.
She loved to travel with Rob and the family and was able to visit more than 20
countries, where she shopped for ceramics, jewelry, purses, and lovely textiles. Her
favorite travel was cruising, and she went on many River and Ocean cruises. Susan
was an avid reader and enjoyed reading while watching the ocean or the European
countryside go by. She was extremely gifted as an artist, whether she was decorating
her home, making stained glass items or coordinating her outfits, everything was
beautiful.
Susan is survived by her loving husband Rob, her two sons Andrew and Steven and
Steven’s wife Sagarika Das, her mother Ellen and sisters Alice & Jeanne. She leaves
behind numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws. Susan was also blessed to have her
best friend from childhood, Laurie Dean-Crook, with her at the end. She will also be
missed by her two cats, Timmy and Bo.
Susan was a beautiful soul who was much loved by her husband, children, daughter-in-
law, and family. She was surrounded by her immediate family and Laurie when she
lost her 3-year battle with cancer. She will be remembered as having a quick wit, ready
smile, and wonderful spirit.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Oct 14th,  1:00pm  at First Presbyterian Church,  206 Washington Ave, Inverness, FL 34450

Memorial donations may be made in Susan’s name to The American Cancer Society.
