Thomas "Tom" Schaw

Thomas Schaw, 64, of Floral City, Florida died on August 8, 2018, at his home. He was born on May 27, 1954 in Mineola, New York. He is preceded in death by Richard Carlton and Mary Schaw, brothers; Kevin Dittmar, and Richard Schaw. He is survived by his mother; Ann Parry. Daughters; Tawny Schaw and Jolene Schaw; sons; Matthew Schaw and his wife Jamie, Albert Schaw, Peter Sciemeca, Thomas Schaw, Jr., grandchildren;, Jessica and Jennifer Schaw, Serenity Scimeca, Dylan, Zoey, and Cayde Schaw, Alec Schaw, Sean Dowell brothers; Richard Dittmar and his wife Michelle, Timothy Dittmar, one sister; Susan Hale and her husband Craig and 4 great-grandchildren. Thomas was a veteran of the United States Navy.

One of Tom’s favorite things to do was to ride his Harley, play the slots, and spend time with his family and friends. With a caring heart he always made sure everyone was taken care of. He left his favorite dogs Jade, and Blaise along with his granddog Steve, and Zeke also His Bird Blue. Tom will always be remembered as the person who would light up the room, along with making a joke out of every situation.

Funeral Services will be held at 9:30a.m with Father Timothy P. Cummings, officiating, followed by visitation from 10:30 am until 11:30 a.m. On Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Heinz Funeral Home and Cremation located at 2507 Hwy 44 West Inverness, Florida.
