Wayne D. Barron, 70, of Lecanto, died on Monday, January 13, 2015 at his home under the loving care of his family and Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast.  Wayne was born on January 7, 1945 in Nashua, NH, son of Donald and Lena Barron.  He graduated from Nashua High School in 1965.  Wayne furthered his education at Lowell Tech Mass and worked as an engineer in the plastics industry at Bemis Co. for 30 years.  He retired from P.M. Mackay.  Wayne was a member of Arlington St. Methodist Church in Nashua, NH.  He moved to Lecanto in 2005 from Nashua, NH.  Wayne was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Episcopal Church in Lecanto. He was also a member of the Citrus Hills Model Yacht Club.  He loved tennis and antique car shows.

Mr. Barron was preceded in death by his parents and his nephew, Shawn Barron.  Survivors include his brothers, Ron Barron and wife, Donna of Hudson, NH and Edward Barron and wife, Thirza of Rochester, NH; nieces, Kristin Barron of Hayward, CA and Koreen “Kory” Egan and husband, Christopher of Farmington, NH; nephew, Todd Barron and wife, Elizabeth of Nashua, NH; and several grand nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mr. Barron will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Shepherd of the Hills Episcopal Church in Lecanto.  Interment will be at Edgewood Cemetery of Nashua, NH.  Memorial gifts may be given in Wayne’s name to Shepherd of The Hills Episcopal Church Building Fund.  Heinz Funeral Home & Cremation, Inverness, FL.
