Wayne Chapel Sr.

Wayne Edward Chapel, Sr., 73, of Floral City, FL, passed on to be with Lord, on Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013 at Citrus Memorial Hospital, Inverness, FL.  Wayne was born on Sept. 11, 1940 in Charleston, WV, the son of Edward and Marie Chapel.  He worked for D.A.B. where he was a heavy equipment operator. He moved to Floral City in 1972 from Ashtabula, OH.

Wayne loved fishing, Nascar and watching TV. He was a member of the Citrus County Community Church, Lecanto, FL

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Chapel, Floral City, FL, 7 children; Lottie Chapel, Lecanto, FL, Wayne Chapel Jr., Lecanto, FL, Tammy Chapel, Floral City, FL, Diana Chapel, Floral City, FL, Rose Marie Bertram, Helen Watson, Ron Olding, and 5 brothers and sisters, 15 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren

The family will receive friends from 2 PM to 3 PM on Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013. The funeral service will begin at 3 PM with Pastor Byron Freeman officiating.
